Soul Singer Durand Bernarr Headlines Louisville Pride Festival

Durand Bernarr will headline the Louisville Pride Festival this year, which is being held on Saturday, Sept. 6, on Bardstown Rd.
Bernarr is a Grammy-nominated artist and popular social media star. In addition to Bernarr, expect local favorites like Voices of Kentuckiana, Robbie Bartlett, The Get Down, and Mary Mary.

Expect a wild and beautiful community experience full of music, theater, movement, and celebration of the local LGBTQ+ community.

“Durand Bernarr embodies the spirit of queer excellence and musical freedom,” said Ebony Cross, Executive Director of the Louisville Pride Foundation, in a release. “We’re so proud to bring together artists, performers, and community leaders who show just how powerful and joyful our stories can be.”

Cross added, “We’ve kept this festival free for ten years because we believe pride should be accessible to everyone. But in this political climate, it’s harder than ever to fund queer spaces. If you believe in what we’re building—please donate. Every dollar helps us keep this going.”

Ten years strong, the Louisville Pride Festival will have two stages, more than 100 vendors, family and wellness activities and lots of local food and drink. Admission is FREE.
