Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill have released their debut Americana album of songs written by Cowsill’s late brothers, Barry and Bill Cowsill. Vicki Peterson is best known for her work with The Bangles whose hit “Walk Like An Egyptian” reached No. 1 on the U.S. music charts. Cowsill was vocalist for The Smithereens and drummer/vocalist for the Beach Boys for more than 23 years. He was also an original member of his family band, The Cowsills.
The pair brings their show in support of “Long After The Fire” to Gerstles (3801 Frankfort Ave.) on Sept. 4.
