The pairing project is a new quarterly dinner series that brings together renowned local chefs and spirits masters to support Educational Justice, a nonprofit organization that works to close the achievement gap through peer-to-peer tutoring and mentorship.
The first dinner in the series will happen on Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Fat Lamb, featuring a 6-course meal with cocktail pairings by two James Beard-nominated chefs, Dallas McGarity and Manny Barella (a Top Chef Season 21 finalist), along with Executive Chef Mike Bowe, and Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll of Heaven Hill. Each chef will prepare two courses, and O’Driscoll will create a drink pairing using the Heaven Hill brand portfolio.
“This dinner isn’t just about great food and drink,” said Torrence Williams, Board Chair of Educational Justice, in a release. “It’s about building a table where community, creativity, and purpose meet. Every plate helps fund free tutoring for middle school students in Louisville who need it most.”
Tickets for the event are extremely limited and cost $175 per guest. The price includes all food, cocktails, gratuity, and a tax-deductible donation to the nonprofit.
