Kentucky Horror Film, ‘The Last Sleepover,’ Seeks Funding Support

Still from “The Last Sleepover” concept reel

A film being produced in Kentucky by Candy Carnage Productions filmmakers Gregory W. Brock and Austin Rutherford, with producers Jacob Ennis and PJ Starks, is holding a fundraiser to cover costs.

The crew worked on other films such as Hillbilly Bloodbath, Kill Granny Kill, The Art of Killing, and The Town Without Halloween

The film titled The Last Sleepover is the story of a group of former high school friends at their 20th class reunion. Their once elite clique spends a weekend at an Airbnb, but a secret they’d tried to hide returns to haunt them.

The film blends “psychological tension, slasher horror, and darkly comedic social dynamics” and “promises a blood-chilling experience for fans of classic revenge thrillers.”
