I posted on the LIO socials that I got a new full-time job and that some things would be different. I’m still not sure how that’s going to work.
Being part of a different media outlet places some specific restrictions on what I can and can’t do. So, I know that I can share personal stories and still find a place to speak truth to power, but I do have to avoid being overly political. So while I’m unable to be in the space that I occupied previously as an editorialist, others can fill that role here, and that’s fine. It just can’t be me right now.
I’ll be asking more questions and still continue to figure out how I can keep Louisville Independent moving, even if that means finding more hands to do the work that I can’t.
