[Opinion] When Stupid Men Get Elected, Governing Gets Dumber

That wasn’t his most detestable thing he ever said because his lies about Iraq got three of my buddies blown up and burned alive and I am going to die mad about it because Bush’s truly limitless stupidity was reflective of something I did not want to believe and that is the stupidity of the American people who elected him.

It was strange, I never met anyone who ever voted for Bush until I met the man who would become my best friend. At the time he was one of those ‘economic conservative socially liberal’ dunces who barely had enough strength to remove his head from his generously bulbous ass. But he did and he rediscovered his lost honor and integrity after swearing he would never vote for one of those lying bastards ever again.

Isaac Asimov said that we had a culture of stupidity in the United States and that it was growing. True as that certainly is, we have a bigger problem where both men and women have abandoned altogether the two virtues of honor and integrity.

As I see it, we have become so pathologically averse to the idea of telling the truth that we now will only elect the most talented and spectacular liars we can find to run for office and it is very important to point out that in my home state of Kentucky for instance, the biggest liars are also the most devout Christians.

Since the almighty hasn’t shown up in corporeal form in several millennia, people who bear false witness feel more emboldened to do so because even the woman who lied about Emmit Till lived a long happy life where god did not strike her down for causing the death of an innocent child.

Since Nixon, Republicans especially have given up the idea of ever telling the truth about anything because if they had to tell the truth about anything they would never be elected so much as a dog catcher. Lying for Republicans is not just a sport anymore, it has become ingrained into their beings so much so that their lies and dishonesty are marrow-deep.

The men and women who seek out power with an R next to their name cannot first tell you what a Christian they are. Why even Donald Trump is a Christian despite the fact that he has never come close to telling the truth or setting foot in a church. George Washington could not tell a lie and we have devolved to the point where Donald Trump cannot tell the truth. I challenge any amoral psychopathic Republican to tell me anything that Trump has said that is true if any of you cowards have the backbone to speak up.

I come from a political family, the Clays. My grandparents were proud to say that two of our grandfathers signed both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Henry Clay ran for president four times and lost. Lt. General Cassius Marcellus Clay had more influence than all of them radicalizing Abraham Lincoln into becoming an abolitionist. He also negotiated the purchase of Alaska from Russia which was singularly the greatest land deal ever done in American history.

Both Henry and Cassius took their honor so seriously that both men fought duels to the death when their honor was questioned by any fool. Cassius dispatched far more fools with his Bowie knife than Henry with his pistols but Henry was certainly the greater orator and perhaps the best orator the United States ever produced -I beg Sam Adam’s forgiveness and James Madison, I am certainly not impartial.

I am however a very ardent and assiduous student of American history. Woodrow Wilson caused The Great Depression because he thought being a graduate of Princeton that he was more intelligent than average men and that decision to implement austerity killed hundreds of thousands of Americans but historians will argue through the centuries whether or not if he or Ronald Reagan was the more harmful president of the 20th century and both will have good arguments.

My vote is with Reagan because every single man I have ever met who has advocated for morals and ethics has never had any of either, especially that truly evil man. He was scum, and senile scum at that, and his wife was just as bad. It wasn’t until Trump that we raced to see which administration had more convicted felons than the other. I think Reagan won out, barely, but as far as committing actual felonies themselves, Nixon, Reagan, and Bush could not come close to the number of felonies Trump has committed, and if not for the fatuous nincompoopery of Jen Psaki picking Merrick Garland as Attorney General, Trump would surely be sitting in a cell for the rest of his felonious life.

It would take me too long to discuss the outright corruption of Andrew Johnson who could be said to have been the worst president in American History but on February 28th, 2025, we the people of the United States learned that we were not being served by a president who works for the people.

Throughout our illustrious history, America has never once sided with the tyrant, the pillager, the dictator, the war criminal until that terrible day yesterday when we saw the full spectrum of servitude Donald John Trump is in for Vladimir Putin, and then there was JD Vance, a political neophyte from Elon Musk’s fellow South African Peter Thiel’s, political machine where left is right and up is down. JD Vance knows as much about politics as he does Carmichael’s Totient Conjecture.

Donald Trump is naturally, and of course, suffering from possible senility and potentially tertiary syphilis, and we assume this because he refuses to release his health records like every other candidate in history. Trump delusionally claimed to have the best memory of any previous president which is interesting because when he was deposed for the E. Jean Carrol case he answered, ‘I don’t remember’ or ‘I have no idea’ over 400 times. Of course, none of that mattered to the untreated mental patients who voted for that clumsy dotard.

Trump being truly unimpeded by imbecility in any way believes that Putin invaded Ukraine under Joe Biden’s administration. Then something something Obama I am not sure what he said. The very easily verifiable fact is that Putin invaded Ukraine in April of 2014. Does anyone recall who was the president then? As the progression of tertiary syphilis reaches its end, even basic and easy-to-remember facts become impossible to remember, and bear a strong resemblance to Trump.

Then Trump had something to say about Hunter Biden which nobody knows what that has to do with anything since Putin had already invaded Ukraine.

Back when Bubba Clinton was president and the Soviet Union was falling apart, we made a deal with Ukraine to get their Nuclear Weapons and any fissile material. The deal was called Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons of 1994. We signed a treaty with Ukraine and then Trump welched on it because in that treaty, we promised that if Russia ever invaded Ukrainian territory that we the United States would defend them.

The legacy media of today does not bring up this fact because they have caught what is known as Chuck Todd Syndrome which is not wanting to offend Republicans in any way by telling the truth about their lies for fear of losing access to the party in power. So nobody discusses the fact that the United States gave our word to the Ukrainians that we would defend them. We lied because Trump is a liar and has no honor whatsoever.

Today we saw in all of its awful glory how an American President becomes a willing fool for a foreign enemy government.

Last week Emmanuel Macron had to stop Trump from lying about the military aid that has been provided by Europe to the Ukrainians for free. Trump thought that we had made some deal with Ukraine to pay us back when we have a signed treaty with them saying we would provide all the aid they needed.

Today Trump’s senility got the better of him again when he said that the United States had given Ukraine $350 billion in military aid. Trump has always and will always inflate and conflate any monetary figure if he thinks it will help his point.

The actual number is $124 billion less than Half of what Trump said and did the political neophyte JD Vance speak up and correct Trump? How about Marco Rubio? Of course not because all Republicans are liars and they care nothing about the honor and integrity of our nation much less for themselves because they are all political whores who never had any honor or integrity at all. Trump has screwed so many people for his entire life that holding him accountable for anything is insulting to him. He has so much money and so successful after six bankruptcies that he can’t even pay painters a mere $33,000 bill which actually led to the painters suing Trump and winning $210,000.

Yesterday Americans of every political stripe saw what a brazen and servile whore Donald Trump is. The absolute stench of his servility to Putin will never wash off. Republicans in the House and the Senate are such craven cowards that they all fear the demented convicted felon because they remember what he did to Jeff Sessions and anyone else who dared to cross him.

This is why people of merit and probity would never vote for such a disgusting lie machine like that golden bovine ass who intends to declare martial law at some point so he can suspend elections lest he get held accountable by someone who is not a brazen and incompetent political whore like Merrick Garland.

Yesterday was the worst day in the history of the United States when we saw a servile political whore serving a tyrant and mass murderer wanted by international courts for crimes against humanity but no Trump cares as much about the country as they do themselves. Trump is selling not just fake crypto coins to enrich himself but he’s selling Trump cash that looks like something Charlie pulled out of a bar of Wonka Chocolate.

This is the power of illusions that enthrall Americans so much because we have brought up generations of Americans that it is wrong to fess up when we mess up. We’ve raised a generation of brainwashed imbeciles who like to think they are intelligent but can’t help but share the ‘I do not give Facebook permission to post my pictures’ nonsense because like Republicans, brainwashed people can never believe they are actually brainwashed.

‘I’m not brainwashed you are!’ is their mantra and no amount of facts is going to change their minds because that is another mistake we have made as a people and that is that we don’t change our minds even when presented with facts that dispute long-held beliefs. This is especially true in politics because anyone who can vote assumes they are an expert at politics despite knowing nothing at all.

Republicans have always and will always rely on this amount of ignorance because you cannot be intelligent and a Republican at the same time. You cannot be a person of probity while voting for a man who lies with every breath he takes and puts our nation in peril because his sole focus in life is the accumulation of money.

When you have been suckered by a conman, it’s hard to admit that you have been suckered, and many Republicans who were beneficiaries of the Inflation Reduction Act are learning that Trump canceled it, and the money farmers invested in growing other crops is going to cripple them financially and they are the ones who voted for the Leopard Eating Your Face Off Party and then they act all horrified when the leopards start chewing on their faces.

Hey, we tried to tell you but of course, when you have feces between your ears, you never listen to your fellow Americans trying to help you because you’d rather listen to a man being run by Vladimir Putin. And no actually, none of the stuff about Russia was a hoax. It was just another lie he repeated into your primitive brains so you would ignore all the facts that prove that he actually is a servile little bitch to Vladimir Putin and you who voted for him are solely responsible for the absolutely sickening things Trump and JD Vance lied about yesterday.

Of course, you won’t be mad at them, you’ll be mad at Zelensky because you don’t remember us promising to protect Ukraine if Russia invaded them. Your word, your honor, and your integrity do not exist. You have none because you sold out to this traitor who conned you into believing the war would be over in 24 hours and that he would cut prices on day one of his presidency.

Well, cupcakes, you were easy marks and he did absolutely nothing he promised he’d do. Nothing is cheaper except your 401ks that are going in the tank right now and it’s only going to get worse as Elon keeps tinkering with how he thinks a government should work. Oh, he’s lost $160 billion in net worth in the last week. More than any other person in human history but sure, he’s as much as a genius as Trump, especially conning all you Republican dummies that they’re geniuses.

They are a stupid man’s idea of smart men and you all fell for the conmen.
