Against the Grain has been in the brewing game for 13 years. This summer, they launched their first line of cannabis infused drinks called “ZAZA,” named after a vintage term for cannabis. ZAZA launched in Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Chicago. This fall, ZAZA will be available in Tennessee. The product comes in five flavors and two strengths, a 5-mg and 10-mg version. The flavors are:
- Lemon-Lime | Available now
- Cherry | Available now
- Watermelon | Coming soon
- Grape | Coming soon
- Orange | Coming soon
Each drink is 60 calories, and the “vibe” lasts up to two hours.

“People tend to think we’re just ‘the beer guys,’ but really, we’re the ‘make-awesome-drinks guys,’” said Sam Cruz, Co-founder of Against the Grain, in a release. “ZAZA represents a deliberate left turn for us, a move into a new category, but one that still reflects who we are at our core. While many cannabis-infused beverages emphasize functionality and lean into a wellness-first identity, we saw an opportunity to bring something different to the table: bold flavors, a vibrant personality, and a sense of fun. We designed ZAZA to feel approachable and familiar. It’s a fruit-forward soda with a modern twist—easy to enjoy, easy to share, and intentionally crafted to remove the intimidation factor some consumers feel around THC.”
