A few months back, Louisville Independent reported on the Lawsuit involving Chris Keating and Big Lou Holdings for non-payment in the sale of the St. Louis-based Sauce Magazine.”
In the lawsuit from last July, Allyson Mace of Bent Mind Creative Group claimed that Keating agreed to pay $479,000 for Sauce in October of 2023. He made four payments and none after July 2024. According to the lawsuit, Mace says he still owed her $168,333.
On Thursday, Jan. 29, a St. Louis judge issued a Consent Judgment making Keating liable for $168,333 and must pay within 30 days or face further legal consequences.
