
Southern Indiana is going into the ‘Upside Down’ this Halloween season, marking the series finale of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” franchise, which takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.
To celebrate, several fun and (some) free events and activations have been planned for the next couple of days. 
Here’s the schedule:
- Lights On Trick or Treating, House of Anguish
6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, October 23
Free not-so-scary, family-friendly trick-or-treat through the House of Anguish haunted house. Dress in a Stranger Things™ costume for a special prize.
Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site, 914 E. Main St., New Albany
- Upside Down Experience, New Albany Wicked Walk
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. & 9 – 11 p.m., October 24 & 25
Dress as your favorite Stranger Things™ character for a special edition of New Albany Wicked Walk, a stroll through the wicked history of downtown New Albany. Tickets are $25 plus tax.
- Stranger Things™ Trivia, Recbar 812
7 p.m., Friday, October 24
Free trivia night to test your knowledge of the show. Pose with a towering Demogorgon, play your favorite arcade games, and order the Demogorgonzola or Mindflayer sandwich.

- The Blue Aux, 250 Spring St., Jeffersonville – This karaoke bar hosts Warlaux & Wyverns, a recurring game night for fans of Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. Enjoy their Stranger Things™ décor, themed cocktails, and belting out your favorite ‘80s hits.
- Strandz & Threadz, 322 Vincennes St., New Albany – Pose with Strandzogorgon – a mannequin-turned Demogorgon – at this salon and boutique. Post and tag them on Facebook for a chance to win a gift card.
- Pick up some Stranger Things™-themed sweets from New Albany Sugar Shoppe and Sweets by Morgan in Jeffersonville.
