It’s almost time for the summer skies to light up with fireflies. Join Bernheim for their Firefly Fridays, each Friday in June, starting on June 6.
June is peak firefly season in our area, and Bernheim is home to more than 13 species of the bioluminescent beetles.
Firefly Fridays will include a guided evening walk through protected habitat that will teach you about the wonderful world of fireflies as you watch them twinkle in the night sky.
Cost is $20/$15 for members. Additional dates: June 13, 20, & 27, from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
