The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is seeking the next of kin for Godson Serge Pehe, who died in Louisville on June 1.
Mr. Pehe was born in Cote d’Ivoire in 1979 under the name Serge Pehe. He left his country during the civil war as a refugee and went to the Republic of Guinea before resettling in Senegal. He arrived in the U.S. sometime before 2008 and became a naturalized citizen in 2013. He spent most of his life in a wheelchair and frequented the 2nd and St. Catherine Area (Jacobs neighborhood).
