Actors Theatre of Louisville Hosts Poet Robin G’s Short Film For International Women’s Day

Still from ILYBNLILM

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Actors Theatre of Louisville (316 W. Main St.) will host a premiere of the short film ILYBNLILM (I Love You But Not Like I Love Me), about self-love and discovery on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. Join ATL in the Pamela Brown Auditorium (and live online) for the 20-minute film that combines poetry, hip-hop, R&B, and spoken word to share the journey of heartbreak, healing, and learning. Created by Robin Garner (aka Robin G) in collaboration with Best Dad Media. The film was inspired by her personal experiences of growth, resilience, and empowerment that she poured into this emotional film.

Following the screening, there will be an interactive discussion to analyze the film’s themes and let the audience reflect on their connections to the work.

In addition to the film and discussion, A women-owned vendor market will be open before the film starts.
