TARC Hosts Meetings To Discuss Fare Increases

TARC Facebook

While the city of Louisville and Southern Indiana continue to dig out from Winter Storm Fern, TARC is running on its snow route schedule (riders can check their routes here) and is readying public meetings to discuss fare upgrades. Currently, a single ride costs $1.75. The proposed fare hike would increase the fare to $2.25 per single ride. If the new fares are approved, they would go into effect on March 2.

Several meetings were held last week regarding the proposed changes, and the remaining meetings include both online and in-person options.
