Filmed entirely in Owensboro, New Fears Eve has secured a distribution deal for the film with Cineverse — the company behind the Terrifier franchise. Cineverse is releasing a new remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night in December, and New Fears Eve will join the holiday slate of releases by the company.
The film follows three best friends preparing for a New Year’s Eve Party, which turns fatal as a murderer decides to make them his next victims and features Dave Sheridan, who is currently reprising his role as Special Officer Doffy in Scary Movie 6. New Fears Eve is produced by Kentucky native and creator of the Final Destination franchise, Jeffrey Reddick. The trailer can be found on YouTube.
