From Tuesday, Nov. 25 to Sunday, Jan. 4, the Frazier Museum (829 W. Main St.) will transport visitors to an enchanted holiday forest with three floors of holiday trees decorated by local schools, businesses, including distilleries and nonprofits, families, and individuals. Over 100 trees were donated by the presenting sponsor, Amazon.
“Lights on Main has become so much more than a holiday tradition: It’s a celebration of what’s possible when a city comes together to support kids and families,” IWRBR Co-CEO and Co-Founder Allison Ogle said, in a release. “Our partnership with the Frazier History Museum has allowed this event to grow into something truly special for Louisville, creating a festive space that brings joy to thousands while fueling the literacy and enrichment programs that I Would Rather Be Reading provides year-round. We’re proud of what this collaboration brings to our community and grateful for everyone who helps make it shine.”
Frazier President and CEO Andy Treinen added, in the release, “We’re ecstatic to bring Lights on Main back for another year! Through an opening party and a free family day, everyone celebrating the season has a chance to experience this wonderful tradition at the Frazier. Our partnership with I Would Rather Be Reading is a powerful reminder that we are better together in serving the community and our families.”
