Do you ever just want someone to listen to your story? On Wednesday, May 7, from 4 – 7 p.m. in front of Story Louisville (828 E. Market St.), the Sidewalk Talk Listening Bus Tour is making a stop in Louisville.
The tour is in collaboration with Mental Health Lou and offers a chance for listening events in communities across the United States, giving people the chance to “be heard, connect, and heal in a powerful, simple way.”
Before the bus tour comes to town, feel free to share your story here: bit.ly/StoryOfYourCity. The stories will be included in a write-up about each tour stop and submitted to local media outlets.
Keep your eyes peeled for an interview with Traci Ruble, who started the Sidewalk Talk program.
See Ruble speak about the project here on CBS Sunday Morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVUNhJ-TiAg&feature=youtu.be&t=331.
